What are core groups?

We're thrilled about offering a new option for those who want to grow in their faith and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices.

Core Groups will be offered, beginning the week of September 13.

Core Groups will be led by people gifted to teach, and the groups will be more intensely focused on what people need in order to "own the faith for themselves" as disciples of Jesus. Be prepared to be challenged in a good way!

Core Groups will aim to equip believers in the following areas that are essential to discipleship:

1. How to Read the Bible

2. Understanding the Bible's Storyline

3. Christian Beliefs

4. The Christian Life

5. How God's Word Shapes Your Home

6. How God's Word Shapes Gender/Sexuality

FALL 2020 Core Groups

The Christian Life

Led by Pastor Clayton Knight

Tuesdays at 6:30pm on the Fall Creek campus

Start Date: September 15

Open to men and women

This core group will cover what life looks like once people become believers. By faith, God moves us from death to life. But many sinful struggles and hangups remain, even after putting one's faith in Jesus. The purpose of this group will be to equip believers to understand what Scripture says about how people change so that they look more and more like Jesus.
