A Growth Group is a group of people who gather to meet each week in a classroom, in a home, or at a local coffee shop. In a Growth Group you’ll get to know each other, grow in understanding God's Word, and pray together.

Growth Groups come in all shapes and sizes, so no matter where you are in life, there’s a group

of people that you can connect with.

2019 SUMMER growth groups

Christ in the Old Testament

Sunday mornings at 9:30am on Fall Creek's campus. Led by Joe Straka

Jesus said, "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he [Moses] wrote about me." In John 5:46 Jesus said, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me." Where and how did Moses, David and the Prophets write about Jesus? How does what they wrote develop your understanding of who Christ is? How does your understanding of who Christ is impact your relationship with Him?

Bible Studies for Life

Sunday mornings at 9:30am on Fall Creek's campus. Led by Diane Anderson & Merrill Eggleston

This study is designed to help disciple participants through in-depth Bible study discussion that address real-life issues. Welcome Home highlights principles from Scripture that can help you become more welcoming to guests and the community. How to Pray will encourage participants to move prayer from a rote, religious practice to a conversation with our loving Father who works on our behalf.

Wise as Serpents; Innocent as Doves

Sunday mornings at 11:00am on Fall Creek's campus. Led by Brad Poteat

This group will explore living with Christian integrity, seeking biblical guidance from Scripture as well as historical perspective from church history and the history of ideas.

Together, we will deepen our understanding of living in the world but not of it.

Liking Jesus

Sunday mornings at 11:00am on Fall Creek's campus. Led by Mike Yoder

Liking Jesus: Intimacy and Contentment in a Selfie-Centered World. This study helps us put Christ first again in today's maxed out, selfie-centered world. The more you compare, the less satisfied you are. The more we interact online, the more we crave intimacy. The more filtered our lives become, the harder it is to be real. In our time together we will rediscover what it means to be "like Jesus" and find true authenticity, a healthy self-image, and compassion for others in an age when we relate to each other so differently than ever before.

College Student Group

For College Students.

Sunday mornings at 11:00am on the Fall Creek's campus. Led by Scott Stayton

This student-driven group will study various topics of interest to our college students and how the Bible gives direction and wisdom regarding those issues.

Leadership Pipeline

For MEN, Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm on Fall Creek's Campus. Led by Pastor John and Greg Cross

This summer, join other men from Fall Creek Church for a look at developing the leader within you. With such differing opinions regarding the topic of leadership, it is no wonder that many people, including Christians, have flawed views of leadership. Some struggle to think of themselves as leaders at all. Even when assigned leadership roles, they aren't sure how to act. Others think of themselves as leaders too much. The Bible presents a different take on leadership, one that undermines both views. On one hand, the Bible affirms that leadership is important. While the word "leadership" doesn't appear often in the Bible, God continually calls individuals to lead His people. Throughout Scripture, as in life, the rise and fall of God's people is almost always tied to leadership.

The Faithful

For WOMEN, Wednesday mornings at 9:30am at the Fall Creek campus. Led by Marla Ringger

The Faithful: Heroes of the Old Testament. We will explore crucial moments in the lives of five Old Testament figures: Queen Esther, Gideon, Hosea, Malachi, and Nehemiah. Strengthen your faith as you walk alongside these larger-than-life figures who all chose to obey God no matter the circumstances.

For MEN, Friday mornings at 7:30am at Hotcakes Emporium (Oaklandon/Pendleton Pike). Led by John O'Dell.
