  • Shayne Spurgeon   Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries

Shayne Spurgeon is a native of Indiana and has been in full-time ministry for 15+ years. He, along with his wife Amber and their 4 children, has served in church, camp, and school ministries in Indiana, Tennessee, and South Florida. Most recently, Shayne lived in middle Tennessee as the CEO of a non-profit camp for underprivileged children. He has a huge heart for the lost, and loves connecting fun activities to Biblical, relevant truths from God's Word. He is an avid outdoorsman, whether it is hiking, hunting, or scuba diving, and loves to be out in God's creation. The calling on Shayne's life is to live out his faith by being the hands and feet of Jesus, and he brings that same passion and energy for serving others into his work with the youth, pointing them to Jesus and showing them how to live out their faith. Shayne lives by the motto "It's not about your way, it's about Yahweh."

  • Andrew Edwards   Worship Director

A Kenosha, Wisconsin native, Andrew graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Film and Media Production and Music. Spending much of his academic career playing in music ensembles eventually steered him away from a career in the entertainment industry and into worship ministry. When he is not practicing his various instruments, Andrew enjoys watching movies, making music with his friends, listening to audiobooks, and going on walks. He believes that worship is the proper response to Christ’s act of redemption and that it is a lifestyle to be lived out in accordance with Romans 12:1-2.

April and her husband John, with their three daughters, have been members of Fall Creek for nearly 20 years. Originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula (above the bridge), April is a Journalism graduate of Indiana University and enjoyed working in book publishing for over 15 years, starting her own firm to support local authors, independent bookstores, and to advocate childhood literacy programs. April then spent fifteen years directing Fall Creek’s weekday preschool ministry, WEECare Preschool & Kindergarten, before becoming Fall Creek's Children's Ministry Director in 2016 ... and has loved every minute of it. In her free time, April enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and hiking. Women’s Bible studies and Marriage ministries are a passion of hers. In juggling many roles, she can definitely say that “Wife” and “Mommy” are the sweetest.
