OUR STAFF

  • Nathaniel Hankerson Jr.   Preaching Elder

I was saved by Christ on June 15th, 1980. I’m happily married to my wife, Maureen, and have two married daughters, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. I attended Florida A&M University and Baptist Bible College of Indianapolis received an MA from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. I have served as a senior pastor, urban missions pastor, and associate pastor. I retired from full-time ministry in 2018 and have enjoyed being a member of FCC. Since retiring, I have served FCC in multiple capacities, including preaching, teaching, music, and leadership as an elder.

  • Andrew Edwards   Worship Director

A Kenosha, Wisconsin native, Andrew graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Film and Media Production and Music. Spending much of his academic career playing in music ensembles eventually steered him away from a career in the entertainment industry and into worship ministry. When he is not practicing his various instruments, Andrew enjoys watching movies, making music with his friends, listening to audiobooks, and going on walks. He believes that worship is the proper response to Christ’s act of redemption and that it is a lifestyle to be lived out in accordance with Romans 12:1-2.

April and her husband John, with their three daughters, have been members of Fall Creek for nearly 20 years. In her free time, April enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and hiking. Women’s Bible studies and Marriage ministries are a passion of hers. In juggling many roles, she can definitely say that “Wife” and “Mommy” are the sweetest.

  • Brian Schrock   administrative & Youth elder

Regina and I joined Fall Creek in 1992. We have 3 adult children, a daughter-in-law, and our dog, Rudy.  I became a follower of Jesus at the age of 22, proposed to Regina several months later, and married in December 1989.  I have served as a volunteer student leader for 34 years.  I love Fall Creek Church because of its impact on my family and me.  Ask me anything, my children say I don't have a filter any more. I am messed up, broken, have stage 4 prostate cancer and am blessed.  Let's talk and be real!

  • John O'Dell   Care elder

Christ Jesus became my Savior and Lord in 1981. My girlfriend, Tameria, now wife of over 40 years, introduced me to the Lord and soon thereafter, I recognized my need to repent of my sin and place my trust in Christ Jesus as my personal Savior. Tameria and I attended high school and college together. She reflects God's pure heart and that attribute constantly contributes to my Christian maturity on a daily basis as I strive to love to show grace to all. We served our country in the Army for nearly 23 years, retiring in 2006. During my final deployment that took me to Korea, members of Fall Creek Church (FCC) lived out the commandment of loving your neighbor as yourself, as demonstrated towards my family during those 19 months of separation. That devotion of love and support displayed to my family is one reason I serve the Lord at FCC. During my 25 years at FCC, I have served as a Trustee, Chairman of the Deacons, Deacon, Treasurer, Growth Group Director, Men's Ministry Director, Growth Group Leader, Youth Leader, VBS, AWANA. Tameria and I periodically offer an Intentional Grandparenting course. I stepped away from full time employment and was later convicted to attend seminary. I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary earning a Master's of Theological Studies. I was so humbled by this experience that my life verse became 2 Timothy 2:15; Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. Please pray for Tameria and me as we serve the Lord and the families at FCC.
